Before filling out this application, please make sure that you are eligible and applying to the correct scholarship.

The submittable account must be made in the applicant's name. If the account is in the guardian's name, then the application will appear in the guardian's name as well and you will be asked to withdraw and resubmit. Furthermore, parents are encouraged to have students fill out the application on their own.

The Steamfitting Industry MANAGEMENT Scholarship Competition is open to both graduating high school students AND current college students. To qualify, the student must have a legal guardian who is currently an office or managerial employee with at least five (5) years of continuous employment for a Steamfitting Promotion Fund contributing contractor.

In the event a student elects to attend a tuition-free college or is a recipient of another scholarship, the Steamfitting Industry Scholarship Program reserves the right to change its award and select an alternate winner.

**Children of company officers or principals and major stockholders ARE NOT ELIGIBLE for this scholarship**

• Your application is NOT COMPLETE until we receive your Transcript. If you are a college student, we need your college transcript. If you are a high school student, we need your high school transcript.  It is your responsibility to ensure that your transcript reaches our office by the deadline, May 1st at 5pm. If it is not received by that time your application is ineligible. Standardized Testing scores are optional to submit.

• Recommendations can be sent to mischa@nymca.org or mailed to 535 Eighth Avenue, 17th Floor New York, NY 10018.
