PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

MAKE SURE THE STUDENT HAS MADE THE SUBMITTABLE ACCOUNT AND IS COMPLETING THE APPLICATION.

MAKE SURE YOUR PARENT IS A STEAMFITTER- NOT A SERVICE FITTER. IF YOU DO NOT READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND APPLY INCORRECTLY, YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

Before filling out this application, please make sure that you are eligible and applying for the correct scholarship.

  • The SUBMITTABLE ACCOUNT must be made in the STUDENT'S name. Before completing the application, please make sure that the submittable account you have created is in the student's name and not the guardian's. Once submitted, the application will appear in the account owner's name, not the name listed on the application. Furthermore, parents are encouraged to have students fill out the application on their own.

  • Your parent/legal guardian MUST be a member of Enterprise Association-Local 638 AND have 10 years of continuous employment.

  • Please note: A grandparent is not eligible unless they are a legal guardian.

  • Children of company officers or principals ARE NOT ELIGIBLE for this scholarship.

  • Your application is NOT COMPLETE until we receive your official High School transcript.  It is your responsibility to ensure that your transcript is emailed to Mischa at mischa@nymca.org by November 22nd close of business, if it is not received by that time your application is ineligible. We encourage you to contact us at mischa@nymca.org to confirm that everything has been received by our office.

  • All correspondence regarding your application will be via email through the submittable platform. Submittable sends an email to you with any notifications, but sometimes this may go to spam. Please make sure to carefully and regularly check your emails and submittable account for further instructions or updates.

  • Recommendations are not accepted at this time.

  • If you have questions or materials to submit, please email mischa@nymca.org. Email is the best and fastest way to reach me regarding scholarship inquiries, not phone calls.
